Who is Fiddles4Less?
What started as a whimsical "what if" idea among music school friends soon became a successful and smart business. We opened our "vitual" doors in 2009, during the worst possible time for a new business, yet we've had significant growth. Despite our collective "day" jobs in bookkeeping, electronics, and housepainting, the Fiddles4Less staff plan to make this e-commerce shop a full-time endeavor.
We work with very skilled players, award winning violin makers and highly efficient suppliers to deliver fine instruments and accessories at a fraction of the price seen in brick and mortar shops.

What does Fiddles4Less provide?
Fiddles4Less does exactly what the name implies: We sell quality instruments for far less than any other site or shop!
Currently we sell authentic instruments by the Workshop of Ming Jiang Zhu and Xuechang Sun at "warehouse" prices. We will continue to expand our product offering as we negotiate better prices but will not compromise quality in our choices.

It's a simple and effective equation: We pay less to run the shop, so our prices are lower.
We can sell for less because we don't have to pay for an outrageously expensive storefront, sales staff wages and hidden commissions, and vast warehouses full of aging and depreciating inventory.
Our easy to use "click and buy" self-serve site allows us to pass all savings in overhead directly to our customers, leaving our small team to finding the lowest prices and filling orders.
So if you don't care that we don't have a fancy showroom, don't offer fat commission checks and make less profit than our competitors, then you're our kind of buyer.
"What is the condition of the items you sell?"
We DO NOT sell damaged, discontinued, inferior or imitation products.
All products we sell are new and in pristine condition. These are quality items with top reputations to be purchased with confidence.
The only "catch" for our low prices is that we lower our overhead in several ways, resulting in a self-serve shopping experience (no sales staff, no gimmicks) so you save money.

We do not sell replicas or imitations. Nor are the items damaged, discontinued or inferior in any way.The items you buy from Fiddles4Less are guaranteed to originate from the original makers and manufacturers.
All our stock is provided from authorized North American distributors who deal directly with the manufacturers in bulk. Many items are shipped to you direct from the source; this saves everyone shipping costs and delays.
This means you are buying from the very same stock as other shops, regardless what they may claim. We're just cutting our operation costs and selling for less.
Additionally, as opposed to most discount sellers, Fiddles4Less does NOT sell cheap quality or mass-produced items. We only sell high quality products with strong international reputations. This level of quality allows us to stand behind the products we sell and for our customers to buy with complete confidence.
